Happy Year of the Snake 2025

In the Year of the Snake in 2025, we will celebrate the first World Intangible Cultural Heritage version of the Spring Festival, also known as Chunjie. On December 4, 2024, UNESCO added "Spring Festival" to the Intangible Cultural Heritage List.

As a hallmark of Chinese culture, the Spring Festival, also known as Chinese New Year, is one of the most significant festivals celebrated in China and around the globe. The inclusion of the Spring Festival on the list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity recognizes not only its deep Chinese roots but also the universal values it embodies, connecting people across the world.

The Chinese New Year 2025 will fall on Wednesday, 29 January. As we bid farewell to the energetic and dynamic Year of the Dragon, the Year of the Snake in 2025 brings a wise and intuitive energy. The Snake, symbolizing wisdom and transformation, presents opportunities for personal growth and change.

Celebrations for the Spring Festival span 15 days, culminating in the Lantern Festival. This extended period allows for family gatherings, feasts, and a variety of cultural activities to be enjoyed to the fullest.

Let us embrace the wisdom, resilience, and vitality that the Snake will bring. May the new year bless us with growth, prosperity, and harmony.

Happy 2025! Happy Year of the Snake!
